Spil Mining, named after Mount Spil—one of the symbolic landmarks of its founding city—was established in 2010 in Manisa, Türkiye. Initially specializing in the exploration and development of mining projects, particularly in critical minerals, the company later expanded into comprehensive consultancy services. Spil Mining is supported by a highly experienced team of UMREK- and JORC-qualified professionals, dedicated to delivering accurate, reliable, and innovative solutions to the mining sector.

Sait UYSAL
Spil Mining was founded by Sait UYSAL, a seasoned mining professional with extensive experience in exploration geology, project development, and critical minerals consultancy. A pioneer and visionary in Türkiye's mining industry, UYSAL has successfully guided numerous projects from initial exploration to advanced-stage development. He holds specialized expertise in critical minerals, including graphite, manganese, vanadium, lithium, nickel, and cobalt.
In 2023, Sait UYSAL also established the Critical Minerals Initiative Türkiye, aiming to enhance awareness of the importance of critical minerals and foster collaboration between national and international stakeholders. He is well-known for organizing Türkiye’s first Critical Minerals Summit, held in İzmir in April 2024, which brought together over 250 participants from 18 different countries.
